MS Sidewiner Game Controllers

haven't tried it on later builds, as it's tedious to get a controller working at all once the setup fails and doesn't roll back correctly, but on 5219 the driver and control panel software (version 4 I think) for my Sidewinder joystick refused to install.
It has basic functionality with the generic drivers though of course, so I have left it at that
Just a heads-up, in case it goes unnoticed, or is it fixed already in the latest build?

Microsoft doesn't even support this hardware anymore, I find it unlikely that it would be supported under Vista, its at end of life I say. -- -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Last time I heard of "Sidewinder" was in early 2000!

Sidewinder Precision 2 works well on 5308 and 5270 with native drivers. No configuring or driver loading was necessary. Used successfully with FS 2004 on both Vista versions.

What? I still have my MS Sidewinder (USB). I didn't use much it either. It's a good joystick.
